Day 1
 |
Transfer from Quito / Guayaquil to San Cristóbal . Lunch – after which we will visit The San Cristobal Interpretation Center, where we will learn about the islands, and the evolution of its species, fauna migration, and the establishment of humans on the islands. Then we will go to “Playa Man” for our first contact with the beautiful waters of these islands. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 2

Breakfasts. We will then visit the “ Mirador de la Soledad ”, where we will enjoy magnificent views of San Cristobal Island . Then we will go to the Junco Lagoon, the only fresh water lagoon in San Cristobal . Lunch, followed by a trip to the Highlands where we can see different vegetation compared with that on Santa Cruz Island . Dinner and accommodation |
Day 3

Breakfast. Transfer from San Cristobal to Puerto Ayora . Lunch, after which we will visit the Highlands of Santa Cruz for closer contact with the Giant Galapagos tortoises, as well as birds like the Bird Wizard and finches - all this surrounded by the endemic vegetation of the Galapagos such as escalecias and matazarnos. Dinner and accommodation

Day 4
|
Breakfast. First we will visit the Galápagos National Park , Charles Darwin Station where we can see Lonesome George, the last living Galapagos tortoise of his species; then we will visit the corals with Galapagos turtles. After this we will go to Puerto Ayora for a short visit to the most famous art galleries in Puerto Ayora. We will then take a speedboat to Isabela, where on arrival we will visit the Flamingos Lagoon. Dinner and accommodation

Día 5
|
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will take a full day hike around Volcán Sierra Negra (with a boxed lunch included). The volcano is located 13 miles from Puerto Villamil, and is the second largest active crater in the world – which is why we will take a horse ride part of the way – and we will also visit Volcan Chico . In the afternoon we will return to the hotel and later that day will have the opportunity to go snorkeling in La Concha Perla . Dinner and accommodation

Day 6

After breakfast we will visit the famous “ Muro de las Lágrimas” ; since 1946 to 1959 Isabela Island was used as a penal colony by the Ecuadorian government, and the prisoners were forced to build a wall made of enormous lava rocks. Additionally we will visit the Orchidia Viewpoint , and the “ estero de Isabela” . After lunch we will visit the Highlands of Isabela, specifically Campo Duro , where we will meet 60 Giant Galapagos tortoises in their semi natural environment. After that we will visit the Mango Viewpoint . For the return to town, those who have an adventurous spirit can ride bicycles |
Day7

Breakfast – after which we will visit the “ Islote Tintoreras” . This name comes for one kind of shark that lives there and has a white fin; these kinds of sharks are known as Tintoreras. We will also have a chance to see other sharks as well as penguins, sea lions and many colorful fish when we go snorkeling. We will then visit the lobería Grande and the lobería Chica . Dinner and accommodation |
Day 8

Transfer from Isabela to Puerto Ayora , followed by breakfast. Transfer from Baltra Airport to Quito or Guayaquil . On our way to the airport we will visit The Twins, which are giant volcanic collapsed holes |
